1. Who sells to you
Beegait is operated by SDS SA (Smart Digital Solutions SA); the Imprint names us in full. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the merchant of record for all our online orders: it charges your payment method, issues your invoice and handles refunds. Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Refund Policy apply alongside this page.
Where we invoice you directly, for example for a custom agreement or a licence for your own server, the same rules apply and we handle the refund ourselves.
2. Try before you pay
Every new account starts with 30 days of the Standard plan. You enter no payment details and nothing is charged, and nothing renews on its own when the 30 days end. A subscription starts only when you choose a plan and pay for it.
Using Beegait on your own machine is free and needs no subscription.
3. Cancelling
You can cancel a subscription at any time, from your account’s billing settings or by writing to us at contact@sds-ch.com.
- The cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, the month or the year. Until then everything keeps working, and nothing is charged after it.
- For 30 days after that, your projects stay readable so you can export them, and you can come back at any time.
- Your data on our platform is deleted 90 days after the subscription ends. The files on your own computers are never touched: they stay yours.
4. Changing seats or plans
- Adding writing seats, or moving from Standard to Premium, takes effect at once. You pay only for the part of the current period that remains.
- Removing seats, or moving from Premium to Standard, takes effect at the next renewal. The seats and the plan stay usable until then; the current period is not refunded.
- Monthly to yearly takes effect at once, and what remains of the current month counts towards the year. Yearly to monthly takes effect at the end of the paid year.
5. When a payment is refunded
A subscription period is paid in advance and is not refunded once it has started, except in the cases below. That is why the trial comes first: you decide before you pay.
We refund in full:
- A payment taken by mistake, such as a double charge, or a charge after your cancellation took effect.
- The time you paid for but could not use because we ended your licence early, when a third party’s rights make it impossible for us to keep providing Beegait (section 15.2 of the EULA).
Nothing on this page limits a right the law gives you. Beegait is offered to businesses and professionals; if you buy as a consumer, Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Refund Policy describe your right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days.
6. How to ask for a refund
- Paid online: use the link in the receipt Paddle sent you by email, or go to paddle.net and choose “Request refund”. You can also write to us at contact@sds-ch.com with the email address of your account and the invoice number.
- Invoiced by us: write to us at contact@sds-ch.com with the invoice number.
An approved refund goes back to the payment method you used. If a charge looks wrong to you, write to us first: we answer faster than a dispute through your bank.
7. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our plans or the law change and note the date below. A payment is governed by the version published here on the day it was made.
